Marble Sort Level 5 welcomes you with a wall of grey question marks, and those question marks hide your entire midgame. Green, Yellow, Purple, and Light Blue run the early board, with Pink and Dark Purple surfacing later. The tray is built like a stepped pyramid: four coloured blocks sit in the front, six Mystery Boxes loom behind them, and the whole solve is about surviving a Green shortage at the very start.

The front row reads Purple, Green, Yellow, Green going across, and everything stacked above is a Mystery Box you can't read yet. Now look at the bottom Boxes.

The front row wants Green in column one, Light Blue in column two, and Green in columns three and four. Run the numbers: three Green Boxes are begging to be cleared, but you only have two Green blocks in the tray. That shortfall is the defining problem, and it forces you to dig.

The Purple and Yellow sitting so visibly up top are straight bait. There's no Purple or Yellow Box in the front row at all, so dropping either one just parks marbles on the belt and chokes your space before the level even begins. You have to crack the Mystery Boxes tucked behind the two Green blocks to find the missing colours, and you can't touch the outer edges until the middle is hollowed out.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 5 — Step-by-Step

Survive the first taps

1. Tap the first Green block, sitting second from the left, and let it drop entirely onto the belt into the waiting Green Boxes.
2. Tap the second Green block on the far right and let those sort themselves.
3. Stop. Keep your hands off the Purple on the far left and the Yellow.
4. Sending those two Greens home cleared the front blockers and uncovered the Mystery Boxes right behind them.
5. Hunt the newly revealed colours for more Green or Light Blue — you need them to finish the front line.
6. If a revealed box is Green, drop it right away to trigger the three-marble clear and break the board open.

Break the Mystery Box chain

1. The lower Boxes shift up now, exposing Light Blue, Yellow, and more Green in the deep second layers.
2. Column two has wanted Light Blue since the start, so feed it the moment its Box is clear.
3. If a newly revealed bottom Box wants Yellow, release that original Yellow block from the tray.
4. Keep chaining reveals, and check each clear against the stubborn Purple block on the left side.
5. Release the left Purple only when its bottom Box is totally unobstructed — it strips away the last Mystery Boxes.
6. Drop the middle-column Light Blue and Yellow in pairs to avoid leaving stragglers on the belt.

Clear the back rows

1. As the final Mystery Boxes fade, solid Pink and Dark Purple blocks appear at the peak of the pyramid.
2. The back rows deep in the grid hold their matching Pink and Dark Purple Boxes.
3. Clear the remaining Light Blue and Yellow bottom Boxes that block your path to them.
4. Drop the Dark Purple and Pink marbles. Your belt should be beautifully empty by now, so they sort themselves out.

Tips & tricks

• Column two is the odd one out — it wants Light Blue while everything else wants Green, so watch for its Box surfacing early.
• The two Green blocks are your only safe openers. Everything else in the front row is a trap.
• Read each Mystery reveal before reacting. A dead colour dropped too early is how this board kills you.

Common mistakes

• Tapping Purple or Yellow in the opening just to see what's behind them. Both have no Box, so they clog the belt.
• Dropping a colour whose matching Box is buried two layers deep. It sits on the belt and strangles your sorting space.
