Marble Sort Level 498 is a puzzle that punishes players who rush the opening. You will see a row of bottom Boxes demanding Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Purple, but the Top Tray presents Dark Green and Light Green first. Those Greens are a decoy; pulling them early chokes your Conveyor Belt. The key is to feed the outer Blue and Purple first, then methodically dismantle the right-side counter and the Arrow Box chain.

The board splits into clear zones. On the bottom, from left to right, sit Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Purple Boxes. Above them, the Top Tray's bottom row holds Dark Green, Light Green, Blue, a dark grey counter block with a '4', and Purple. The right side hides Brown under the counter. The upper left has a Gift Box with a '4', and across the middle runs a chain of Arrow Boxes pointing right: Yellow, White, Blue. At the very top, a Green Arrow Box points right and a Pink Arrow Box points down.

Marble Sort Level 498 Walkthrough

The bottom row of Boxes is your shopping list: Blue, Orange, Yellow, Purple. Those are the only colours you should actively chase in the early game. The middle Boxes (Orange and Yellow) have no direct source at first, so you must dig through the sides to find their marbles.

The trap is the pair of Greens in the Top Tray. They are exposed and look like an easy drop, but no bottom Box is waiting for Green at the start. If you take them, they occupy your Conveyor Belt and block your ability to sort the colours you actually need.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 498 — Step-by-Step

Phase one: Open the outer columns

  1. Tap the Blue marble that is third from the left in the Top Tray's bottom row; this routes it into the far-left Blue Box.
  2. Tap the Purple marble on the far right of the Top Tray; this slides it into the far-right Purple Box.
  3. Leave the Dark Green and Light Green marbles untouched in the Top Tray.
  4. As those outer colours clear, new marbles shift into view. Look for Orange and Yellow among them and feed each to its matching bottom Box.
  5. Pull marbles from the right side to fill the Purple Box, which gradually ticks down the dark grey counter block; keep matching near that block to break it early and release the Brown marbles underneath.

Phase two: Unlock the Arrow Box chain and Gift Box

  1. Once the first set of Blue and Purple Boxes fills, new Boxes slide forward, often Green or White. Now turn to the Arrow Box row: Yellow, White, Blue, all pointing right.
  2. Clear the Blue Arrow Box first by matching it to a Blue bottom Box; that unlocks the White Arrow Box to its left.
  3. Feed the White Arrow Box into a White bottom Box; that unlocks the Yellow Arrow Box further left.
  4. When the Yellow Arrow Box is free, match it to a Yellow bottom Box.
  5. Now look at the Gift Box on the left. Clear a marble adjacent to it only when your Conveyor Belt has empty slots; the Gift Box will open and dump several hidden marbles at once.
  6. Immediately clear whatever colours the Gift Box releases, prioritising any Orange or Yellow to avoid belt congestion.

Phase three: Finish the top locks

  1. At the top, the Green Arrow Box points right; clear the marble to its right first so the Green can be released.
  2. The Pink Arrow Box points down; it stays locked until you clear the marbles directly beneath it.
  3. As your bottom Boxes cycle through Brown, White, and Light Blue, match them with the released pieces from the right side of the Top Tray.
  4. If a colour is exposed but no matching Box is available yet, leave it in the Top Tray; only drop marbles when they will immediately fill a Box or when you are deliberately stacking two identical pieces to reach a locked colour below.

Tips & tricks

  • Keep your Conveyor Belt as empty as possible; never pull the starting Greens until a Green Box appears.
  • Work strictly from the outer edges inward; the right-pointing arrows mean the left side of the middle row is inactive until the right side clears.
  • When the Gift Box opens, be ready to react quickly; its random colours can fill your belt fast.

Common mistakes

  • Dropping the Green marbles early, which jams the Conveyor Belt and stalls your progress.
  • Attempting to clear the Arrow Boxes from left to right; you must clear the rightmost Blue first.
  • Opening the Gift Box while your Conveyor Belt is full, causing an overflow and a likely fail.
