The Top Tray holds a Purple Yarn Ball on a middle ledge, a Yellow Yarn Ball in the center, a Light Blue Yarn Ball at the bottom, and a Green Yarn Ball at the bottom as well. Standard marbles sit in rows: Pink on the bottom-right and top-right, Yellow in the second row, Green and Red in the upper areas, and Orange in the middle.

The four columns of Boxes start with Pink on the far left, Yellow next to it, Cyan in the third spot, and Light Blue on the far right. Underneath, the left column hides Green and later Pink again, the second column reveals Purple then Orange, the third column has Cyan then Red, and the right column has Light Blue and Yellow.

The trap is that the Purple Yarn Ball turns into Pink, the Yellow Yarn Ball becomes Dark Blue, the Light Blue Yarn Ball becomes Purple, and the Green Yarn Ball becomes Cyan. If you try to match the yarn ball's own color, you'll jam the belt.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 461 — Step-by-Step

Phase one: Flood the belt on purpose

1. Tap the standard Pink marble on the bottom-right of the Top Tray and drop it into the Pink Box on the left.
2. Next, tap the Pink marble on the top-right and slide it into the same Pink Box.
3. Now tap the Purple Yarn Ball in the second row; it unravels into Pink. Use one of those Pink marbles to fill the Pink Box completely, which clears it and reveals a Green Box underneath.
4. Leave the extra Pink marbles on the belt – you'll need them later.
5. Tap the central Yellow Yarn Ball; it produces Dark Blue marbles that pile up on the belt. Do not use them yet.
6. Then tap the Light Blue Yarn Ball at the bottom; it makes Purple marbles. Let them sit on the belt, too.

Phase two: Clear the second column

1. With the tray now more open, tap the two standard Yellow marbles in the second row and guide them to the Yellow Box in the second column.
2. Tap the third Yellow marble that becomes accessible and feed it to the same Box.
3. That Box clears and reveals a Purple Box. Use the Purple marbles already waiting on the belt to fill it.
4. Clearing the Purple Box exposes an Orange Box. Tap the standard Orange marble in the Top Tray and deliver it to the Orange Box.

Phase three: Finish the remaining columns

1. Go to the far-left column: tap the standard Green marble and place it in the Green Box that was revealed earlier. Continue until that Box is full and clears.
2. Move to the third column: tap the Green Yarn Ball at the bottom; it unravels into Cyan. Use those Cyan marbles to fill the Cyan Box.
3. That reveals a Red Box. Tap the standard Red marble from the Top Tray and drop it into the Red Box.
4. Now the second Pink Box appears in the first column. Use the leftover Pink marbles from the belt to clear it.
5. Finally, use the Dark Blue marbles from the belt to fill the remaining Boxes that require Dark Blue, and then clear the last column (Light Blue and Yellow) with the standard marbles left in the Top Tray.
