Marble Sort Level 406 — Walkthrough and Solution

This board is a test of patience. The upper half is mostly hidden behind gray Mystery Boxes, and two Arrow Boxes above the starting row force you to clear the sides before the middle opens. The key is to ignore the tempting Yellow box on the far right and focus on the Brown and Purple marbles that are visible.

At the start, the Top Tray shows a row of five marbles: Purple on the far left, then Brown, Orange, Brown again, and Pink on the far right. Directly above the Orange and the second Brown are the two Arrow Boxes—the left one points left, the right one points right. In the bottom row, the active Boxes are Brown (left), Purple (next), Brown (middle), and Yellow (far right). Notice there is no Yellow in the Top Tray, so that Yellow Box is a decoy. Behind the Mystery Boxes, a large number of Blue and Green marbles are waiting, but their matching bottom Boxes are buried deep, so pulling them early will fill the Conveyor Belt and lock the board. Also, on the left side, about three rows down, there are two Connected Boxes: a Pink and an Orange linked by a black line. When they drop, they will arrive together, so you must have both colors ready.

The bottom Boxes demand, from left to right: Brown, Purple, Brown, and Yellow. But the Yellow is a trap because no Yellow is initially available above. The real threats are the hidden Blue and Green masses and the linked Pink-Orange pair.

The one specific imbalance is that the starting row offers no Yellow, yet a Yellow Box sits in the front line. This tempts you to dig into the Mystery Boxes early, which would release a cascade of Blue and Green that you cannot handle yet. The safe colors to clear first are Brown and Purple, and then you must unlock the outer edges to satisfy the Arrow Boxes.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 406 — Step-by-Step

Clearing the Visible Row

1. Send the two Brown marbles from the Top Tray into the two Brown bottom Boxes.
2. Route the Purple marble on the far left into the Purple bottom Box.
3. Leave the Pink and Orange alone for now, as their bottom Boxes are not yet active.
4. After the bottom row shifts, a Pink Box becomes active on the left side. Feed the exposed Pink from the far right into it.
5. Now tap the gray Mystery Boxes on the far left and far right edges only.
6. Once those outer boxes are cleared, the Arrow Boxes in the middle vanish, unlocking the center.

Surviving the Mystery Box Reveal

1. Tap the newly revealed Mystery Boxes one at a time, starting from the center. You are hunting for Purple and Orange to feed the bottom.
2. When Green or Blue marbles appear, stop touching that area and leave them stranded.
3. Focus on clearing the left side until the Connected Pink-Orange Boxes drop down.
4. Because those two arrive together, you need several empty belt slots. Gather the remaining visible Orange from the center and any Pink you have uncovered on the right.
5. Immediately feed the Connected Boxes—if they sit idle, the first two columns cannot advance, which hides the late-game Yellow and Green Boxes.

Managing the Tunnels and Finishing

1. After the Connected Boxes are cleared, the board opens up. The bottom will finally push Yellow, Green, and Blue into the active row.
2. Now you can safely retrieve the Blue and Green marbles you left in the middle of the grid.
3. Keep an eye on the top: the two Tunnels each require 5 clears to open.
4. When the Tunnels open, they will release a long line of Orange marbles. Ensure your Conveyor Belt has at least three empty slots before triggering the fifth clear.
5. Guide that final Orange batch into the remaining bottom Boxes to finish the level.

Tips & tricks

• Always keep your Conveyor Belt below half full; never let it fill completely or you will lose.
• Memorize that the Mystery Boxes are mostly Blue and Green, so avoid them until the bottom rows for those colors are ready.
• When the Connected Boxes drop, treat them as a single unit and clear them immediately to avoid stalling.

• Digging into the Mystery Boxes early to find Yellow—this floods the belt with Blue and Green.
