The immediate problem: Brown is nowhere visible—it's buried under the side Mystery Boxes, while White and Light Blue are ready to drop from the bottom-left. Yellow, Red, and Orange are free, but they are pure decoys: if you tap them early, they will jam your Conveyor Belt and you will run out of space before the center unlocks.

The trap is that the Conveyor Belt has only a few slots, and every wrong tap costs you a slot. You must ignore the tempting Yellow and Red marbles until their matching Boxes are in the front row or guaranteed to move there within one clear. How to Beat Marble Sort Level 290 — Step-by-Step

Phase one: Unlock the front row

1. Drop the White and Light Blue marbles from the bottom-left of the Top Tray into their matching front-row Boxes.
2. Keep your hands off Yellow, Red, and Orange—they are not needed yet.
3. Pop the lowest Mystery Box on the left column to reveal hidden marbles; repeat on the right column until you find Brown.
4. As soon as Brown appears, guide it down to the front-right Brown Box to clear it.
5. Clearing Brown opens the second row, exposing Green and Dark Blue Boxes; match the visible Green marbles on the right side into the Green Box.
6. Continue alternating between clearing edge marbles and cracking Mystery Boxes, always working bottom-up.

Phase two: Break the center panels

1. Once you hit 16 clears, the big panels vanish, revealing a dense center pile of Light Pink, Dark Blue, Purple, and Red marbles.
2. Check your new front row: it now shows Light Blue, Green, and Light Pink Boxes.
3. Send the Light Pink marbles from the center down to fill those front-row Light Pink Boxes.
4. Clear the Green Boxes using exposed Green on both sides of the middle.
5. Do not dump the center carelessly—the top corners still have gear obstacles locking some colors behind a sequence.
