If you try to dig for them early, you will flood your Conveyor Belt. Instead, work with the bottom row of the Top Tray to satisfy the Purple and Red Boxes first.

The imbalance is that Dark Green is unavailable, while Purple and Red are easily accessible. The Light Blue and Light Green Boxes are in the second layer, but their marbles are also in the bottom row, so they become reachable once the first layer clears.

How to Beat Marble Sort Level 164 — Step-by-Step

Phase one: Clear the front row

1. Tap the Red marble on the far left of the bottom row in the Top Tray to send it to the Red Box.
2. Tap the Purple marble in the same bottom row to route it to the first Purple Box.
3. After the first Purple Box fills, tap the second Purple marble that appears (from the second layer) to clear the second Purple Box.
4. Do not tap Dark Blue or Light Blue yet because their Boxes are still in the second layer.
5. As the front row empties, the second layer Boxes slide forward, bringing Light Blue and Light Green Boxes into the active zone.

Phase two: Dismantle the center column

1. Drop the Light Blue and Light Green marbles from the bottom row into their matching Boxes as they become available.
2. Now the bottom horizontal layer is gone, giving you access to the base of the center column.
3. Tap the Light Blue marble at the bottom of the center column to deliver it to the Light Blue Box.
4. Move up the column: tap the Light Green marble next and guide it to the Light Green Box.
5. Then tap the Purple marble in the column to feed the Purple Box.
6. Finally, tap the Red marble at the top of the column to clear the Red Box.
7. Throughout this, keep ignoring the Dark Green Box; it will sit there until later.

Phase three: Unlock the top row and finish

1. When the center column is fully emptied, the eight yellow pins retract, releasing the side blocks.
2. The top row becomes accessible, so tap the Dark Green marbles and send them down to fill the Dark Green Box.
3. As the Dark Green obstacle clears, deeper Boxes (Pink, Orange, Light Blue) push forward.
4. Tap the Pink marble from the top row to fill the Pink Box.
5. Tap the Yellow marble from the top row to match the Yellow Box when it appears.
